Clown Performance

Elisabet started as a clown in 1998 after returning to Denmark from spending 5 years in Switzerland. We had a plan that in the matter of 2 years we would save up enough money to move on to Asia and start new projects.

…but what can one do in Denmark to make a difference?

Elisabet felt that wherever there are kids who suffer, they would need encouragement, so she contacted the main hospital in Copenhagen, Rigsospitalet, and asked if they would want her to come as a clown. This was readily accepted, so through 2 years, every Wednesday, Elisabet entertained the sick children, mainly in 2 wards – for the children sick with cancer and at the ear-nose-throat ward. It became 2 wonderful years that laid the foundation for her through the coming years to regularly perform as a clown at different hospitals, schools and institutions in Cebu City.

Performing as a clown and balloon artist, Elisabet offer fun entertainment for kids at schools, institutions, hospitals as well as at private parties (See Party Packet). This puts smiles on the faces of sad or suffering kids as well as liven the atmosphere at the different institutions they perform at. Abi makes every child (and adult) look so pretty and handsome - adding a brush touch of color! It's fun!

You can sponsor this performance at a venue of your choice. Often, in Cebu, instead of hosting a party for their child at home, parents like to make poor kids happy and sponsor the event at an institution or a poor area and hold their child’s birthday there. “The greatest happiness doesn’t come from seeking your own happiness, but from looking for ways of making others happy. Then in turn, happiness finds you.”
