Prison Ministry

Since year 2004 we have been teaching Bible and motivational classes every Friday morning at the Women’s Prison (BBRC) here in Cebu City. This is a rehabilitation center where they’re waiting for their case to be tried and brought to a close. Having experienced a lot of heartache and a wide variety of difficulties, it’s hard to come to terms with this without help and encouragement from the outside. The classes taught are such as “Understanding God’s Word”, “Life’s purpose”, ”Overcoming Difficulties”, ”Love and Forgiveness”, ”Bitterness and Freedom from Fear” etc. It has been wonderful to see these women be able to rise above their severe difficulties and have been able to embrace Jesus’ teachings in such a way that they now have faith and hope for the future.
